Ice pops recipe

Ice pops recipe

I love ice pops so much, so here I am with an ice pop recipe. I never buy ice pops in supermarkets, cause it feels totally chemical. Once it even colored my teeth, so I had weird teeth color for a few days. Tooth paste was useless. Imagine how many chemicals were there, if it colors your teeth completely and the only way to get rid of this awesome color is to use vinegar. That’s why homemade ice pops is definitely my choice, firstly, because you are sure, that it contains nothing except of fruits, fruits juice, sugar or honey. If you have kids, ice pops recipe is something you should keep in your cookbook. What could be better, then ice pops in summer! I guess it is also perfect for people, who want to eat healthy.

I always do several kinds of ice pops, so you can choose your favorite.

1. Melon + Honey + Mint. Take peace of melon, cover it with a bit of honey. Leave it aside for 30-40 mins, so you get a bit of juice. Using hand blender, blend honey and melon together, till it is completely smooth. Pass the liquid through a sieve and place it to the ice pop forms. Place a bit of mint to the form and freeze ice pops for at least 7 hours.

2. Raspberry + watermelon + sugar (or honey, depend on how healthy you want your ice pops to be).  Using hand blender, blend raspberries and watermelon together, till it is completely smooth. Pass the liquid through a sieve and place it to the ice pop forms. Freeze ice pops for at least 7 hours.

3. Strawberry + blackberry + sugar (or honey, depend on how healthy you want your ice pops to be). Using hand blender, blend strawberries and blackberries together, till it is completely smooth. Pass the liquid through a sieve and place it to the ice pop forms. Freeze ice pops for at least 7 hours.

4. Raspberry + plain yogurt +  sugar (or honey, depend on how healthy you want your ice pops to be).Using hand blender, blend raspberry and yogurt together, till it is completely smooth. Pass the liquid through a sieve and place it to the ice pop forms. Freeze ice pops for at least 7 hours.

If you don’t have special ice pop forms, you can use simple paper cups and wooden sticks. I did it as well, as you can see on the picture. I also combined two types in one ice pop, melon/honey +watermelon/raspberry. Another one is strawberry/blackberry + raspberry/yogurt. Double colors are always looking nice, right?

Anyway, using ice pop forms is easier. I bought mine here, but there are lots of options, so you will find something you like the most.
