Strawberry pie recipe

Classical strawberry pie is loved by lots of people. Especially when you have lots of strawberries left over, don’t loose your time, try this strawberry pie recipe now!

Dough:

  • Flour 250gr.
  • Butter 150gr.
  • 1 egg
  • Confectioners Sugar 2 table spoons
  • Water 2 table spoons

Whisk flour, butter, egg and confectioners sugar, prepare the dough. After it is ready, leave it for 30 minutes in the fridge. Use the baking form (I use 26 diameter), cover the form with the dough. Bake for 20 minutes (temp.220C). Make small holes with the folk before baking.

  Cream:

  • Milk 250gr.
  • Sugar 60gr.
  • 3 egg yolks
  • Flour 30 gr.
  • Half of Vanilla bin
  • Pinch of salt

Mix 3 egg yolks and sugar with electric mixer; mix it for at least 15 minutes. Slowly add flour, pinch of salt, and mix together. Heat milk and vanilla bean, but don’t let it boil. Leave milk aside for 15 minutes, add cooled down milk to other ingredients. Heat the mixture; mix all the time, otherwise the cream would not work out.  When the cream gets thickened, it is ready. Leave it till it is completely cooled down.

Now build your cake, start with baked dough, and cover it with cream and on top strawberries. Cover strawberries with a bit of gelatin (follow instructions on gelatin pack)
